Circa 1870 A stylish interesting pair of solid oak pedestals, the top with circular insert the frieze with gothic quatrefoils cutouts intersected by carving with a large moulding beneath, the stem has further gothic tracery including arches and pierced trifold cutouts, with circular pilasters intersected by proud curvaceous sections all on a solid oak panel, resting on a stepped platform base issuing eight carved feet. With great colour, patination, elegant and style.
