Description
Circa 1860, matched pair of freestanding Boulle bureau de dame. The ebonised tops have a fretted brass three-quarter gallery and finely engraved brass and red tortoiseshell inlay. It has a shaped flap with ormolu rim which opens to reveal an inlaid rosewood interior with sliding well. With a Boulle inlaid skirt and standing on cabriole legs with ormolu mounts.
