Description
Circa 1870. A late Victorian leather topped library table, with green tooled and gilded leather, broad banding, moulded foredge and a heavy moulding beneath the top, with a deep frieze with foliate carving, quarter blocks on all sides. The table stands on four turned legs with a ring turning on the tops, intersected by a stylish shaped stretcher and a further block beneath with bulbous toes and resting on cast brass castors.
