Description
Circa 1920, flame mahogany side table by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The top has flame mahogany cross banding and a raised edge with slightly canted corners, in a Georgian style design. Beneath is a full length drawer with matching flame mahogany panels and inside are 2 adjustable divisions with the original Whytock and Reid, Lorimer of Birmingham lock. Beneath is a shaped apron with mahogany veneers and it has a polished back (making it freestanding). Standing on cabriole legs with carved quarter blocks and beaded fore-edge, finishing on a pad foot.
