Description
Circa 1870. Large Victorian brass-bound solid camphorwood trunk. The rectangular top with central brass plaque and brass corners in a nicely figured solid camphorwood. The lid front with inset brass military campaign handle opening to solid camphorwood interior. The trunk with brass strapping on the sides and base, and with a large brass escutcheon. In excellent condition.
