Circa 1900, Hepplewhite style oval toilet mirror. With a mahogany frame with boxwood string inlay on the fore edge, it is held in place in 2 shaped uprights with reeded facing and a small pattern at the top. The mirror is held in place by 2 cast brass axe head drops which screw into the sides, and there is a carved rondel left and right in ivory or bone with a flower head on it. Beneath the mirror there is a cross stretcher and it has a dip section in the centre which follows the form of the mirror with reeding to the front and sides. It stands on 4 simple, squat sabre legs and the mirror is clean and stylish.
