Description
Circa 1880. Georgian Chippendale style mahogany side or hall table. The reverse breakfront top in nicely figured plum pudding mahogany, with foliate carved fore-edges over long central frieze drawer with blind fret carvings and cast brass swan neck handles, flanked by 2 smaller drawers, all with cock beading and oak linings, all above a gadrooned and shell carved frieze. Supported on 6 cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and deeply carved ball and claw feet. Very desirable proportions and in excellent condition.
