Description
Circa 1825, George IV mahogany rectangular centre table, likely by William Trotter, Edinburgh. The rectangular top in figured mahogany, with a simple moulded edge and a concave apron finishing with a simple beading. Standing on a tapering splayed stem with central foliate carving, which is a typical Trotter feature (the foliate carving is in both directions). The concave platform base with 4 scrolling feet and further foliate carving.
