Description

Circa 1820. A good ebonized George IV library chair, with raised curved horseshoe shaped back, supported with various bobbin turned uprights and stylish smaller balustrades. The shaped arms with carved leaves on the ends, are supported on a shaped upright block. The cane seat in excellent condition with a drop in upholstered squab cushion, back legs are square and slightly out swept, front legs are turned, ring turned and fluted and finish with cast brass castors.
