Description
Circa 1780. A good George III mahogany and inlaid Sheraton style oval shaped Pembroke table. The top in well figured mahogany with various inlays and broad cross bandings. The two D shaped flaps are hinged and held in place by a pair of wooden hinges. The frieze with full-length drawer with inlay similar to the top and stylish handles, with a dummy drawer on the opposite side. The table rests on four square tapering legs with amboyna panels on the top and string boxwood and ebony inlay on the facings tapering down.
