Description
Circa 1800, George III inlaid mahogany fold-over table, likely by an Edinburgh cabinetmaker. The demi-lune top in figured Spanish mahogany with box wood string inlay opens to a polished interior and supported on rear gate legs. The inlaid frieze with a central drawer with oak liners. All supported on square tapering legs with boxwood inlay (this inlay design was a common feature of tables made by Edinburgh cabinetmakers).
