Description
Circa 1780, George III inlaid mahogany cylinder cabinet bookcase. Surmounted by a classic Georgian inlaid cornice over inlaid doors with arched astragals, opening to three concaved fronted, fixed shelves. The inlaid mahogany cylinder opens to a fitted interior with pigeon holes, drawers with bone turned handles and pull-out green tooled leather writing surface. The base with full length inlaid drawers with cast brass oval handles, all on classic Georgian bracket feet.
