Circa 1900, an oak tantalus made by Walker and Hall, Sheffield. The shaped tantalus with lifting handle at the top and strapping left and right. The arm kicks forward when it is open. Inside there are 3 crystal decanters with their stylish facets and tops. There is minor damages to the decanters and their lids. On one side there is a circular brass casing which contains the locking device. Beneath this section again there are further strapping on all sides thus making the piece free standing. Stylish, decorative piece.
