Circa 1825, unusual copper and brass barrel shaped samovar. The top has an oval lid with reeded ball handle. The barrel has a pair of ring handles on the sides, and a spout and tap to the front. The barrel is bowed at the back. Inside the samovar is the original iron bar which would boil the water when heated. It has a pedestal base and is on reeded bun shaped feet.
