Circa 1920. Quality early Georgian-style inlaid walnut writing desk in perfect condition. The rectangular top with cross banding, herringbone inlay and panels of sea weed marquetry to the corners with a cross-banded moulded edge above three oak lined frieze drawers with stamped Gill and Reigate, London and brass locks stamped GR, above two short drawers. The desk with fluted canted corners is supported on cabriole legs with marquetry inlaid knees and pad feet.
