Description
Circa 1790, neat sized George III oak bureau in figured, quarter cut oak. The cleated flap has cast brass escutcheons and opens to reveal a fitted interior and leather writing surface. There are 4 graduated drawers beneath this which are cross banded in mahogany and have their original embossed oval brass handles. It sits on a neat moulded base and original shaped bracket feet.
