Description
Circa 1840. Early Victorian rosewood games and work table. The rectangular top with a satinwood and rosewood chess board, folds and swivels to become a tea table. Beneath is a mahogany lined drawer with brass lock and key and beneath an upholstered work box. All supported on outswept rounded supports over a turned column on a circular plinth base over four scrolled feet with hidden brass and porcelain castors.
