Description
Circa 1920s. An ebonized pop and quill box. The slightly domed top with rows of quills laid out in a stylish pattern, separated by ebony strips with bone inlay, the patterns continue round all sides of the box. The lid is hinged and opens to reveal the inside of the lid with a carved elephant on a rectangular base with ‘Galle’ inscribed beneath the elephant. There is a collection of domino counters included.
