Description
Circa 1870. A quality solid cast brass classical shaped urn. Elegant handle surmounted by a goddess with grapes in hand. The claret shaped jug is covered in vines and cherubs. As the body tapers there is upright acanthus leaves and the whole piece rests on a circular stepped base with further baccalaurean images.
