Description
Circa 1820, George IV burr elm freestanding library table. The rectangular top with rounded corners and burr elm veneers, over a simple frieze flanked by raised blocks. On trestle ends with large carved flowerheads, supporting the shaped, carved cross-stretcher. All on a raised platform base with foliate and scroll carvings, on scrolled feet.
