Description
Circa 1890, set of 4 Chinese hardwood nest of tables of large size. The square tops with inset figured centres, surrounded by beadings and a moulded edge, over an open carved frieze with vine leaves and grapes. All supported on faux bamboo legs with faux bamboo stretchers and with peripheral stretchers. The larger 2 tables would make ideal side or lamp tables. The other tables are 33 cm wide x 33 cm deep, 28 cm wide x 28 cm deep and 22 cm wide x 22 cm deep.
