Circa 1815. A neat size Regency rosewood chiffonier. The sub structure with two tiers with brass mesh sides supported on turned and tapering brass columns, with a full-length frieze drawer with original working lock and two cast brass handles, with a pair of beaded moulded cupboards beneath, the sides with a pair of cast brass lifting handles, raised on elegant bobbin turned tapering legs finishing with brass cups and castors beneath. The chiffonier has many ‘Sir William Trotter’ features.
