Description
Circa 1900, a quality pair of traditionally upholstered mahogany library chairs, shaped tops with upholstered arms, large stuff over seat, all pleated and deep buttoned in old English alga leather; the upholstery has a mixture of piping and close brass studding; simple back legs are slightly out swept; the front with 2 well shaped cabriole legs with carved acanthus knees and c-scrolls on the quarter brackets, continue down into a well-formed ball and claw foot.
