Description
Circa 1840, decorative Dutch oyster pail made from segmented satinwood and figured walnut. The ribbed, vase shaped bucket with bands of ebony and faded Vermillion decoration are over a similarly decorated, rounded stepped base. It is all supported on three ebonised ball feet.
