Circa late 20th century, pair of Chinese hardwood occasional tables. The square tables have fielded panel centres, with a classic Chinese moulded edge and a shaped apron. The shaped apron continues around the table and has Mother of Pearl inlay decorations featuring birds. From the top of this protrude the 4 legs with a moulded edge on the inside and a small curved section in the centre. Mother of Pearl inlay can be seen on the top and sides of the table with foliate casting. The base is finished with a Chinese foot which is carved and beneath this a simple block toe. Although not very old, it is stylish with good colour.
