Circa 1950, pair of Indian square occasional tables, inlaid with ivory and ebony. The tops are profusely inlaid with very stylish geometric and flowing patterns. The fore edges have a wonderful combination of ivory and ebony giving a good zig-zag pattern. The workmanship is superb. The fore edges of the table have a small apron with double string inlay. Each table stands on 4 stylised legs in the form of an elephant’s trunk with a star inlay on each of the feet. Very unusual, clean, good quality.
