Circa 1920, neat sized oak hall bench. The back has solid oak uprights at each end, and a cross splat top and bottom which is held in place by stylish turned spindles. There is a fielded panel seat with elaborate strap hinges, which lifts to show storage inside. From the back there are 2 solid oak arms with a slight shape at the front, held in place by sturdy turned uprights. The base has fielded panels on all sides and the whole piece stands on raised square feet with slightly rounded corners. The bench is clean and sturdy with good storage.
