Circa 1900, Edwardian 2 tier oval occasional table. With a large inlaid panel to the top, the shape of it follows the form of the table and is contained within a banded section. Outside of this is an inlaid section of mahogany with a wavy form that continues around the table. A double satinwood banding runs around the outside of this. The table has a simple moulded edge and an apron running around the outside. The top of the 4 cabriole legs are diamond shaped and protrude from the apron. Towards the bottom of the table is a small raised shelf with shell inlay and it is held in place by raised stretchers with open fretwork. This unusual table is sturdy and clean.
