Circa 1890, very stylish Art Nouveau mahogany inlaid display cabinet. The top has a canted front and boxwood inlay, which continues down the front. Beneath this is a shaped door that follows the form of the top and has nine glazed sections with convex glass. Inside is covered in silk velour and there are two shaped shelves with mahogany facings. There is a simple copper escutcheon. Beneath the door is a canted apron with a multiple of inlays. The sides continue down to form the base, and this sits on two simply shaped squat trestle feet which are slightly raised. Excellent colour and condition.
