Circa 1880, very unusual Regency style convex mirror. The mahogany framed mirror with its original convex glass in clean condition, and ribbed bezel holding the glass in place. Beneath is a half round section with concave dip and carved circular balls, these would normally be gilded and set in a shaped recess. It is unusual to see this kind of mirror in wood, rather than gilding.
