Circa 1870, an unusual and stylish Victorian mahogany hall stand with hooks made of cow horns. The hall stand has a straight centre block from which the horns have been attached and come out from the side and the front. The top of the cow horns are tipped with small pewter finials. At the top of the stand there is a turned stylish finial. It has a large base that spreads out and there are 2 metal lined drip trays for holding water. The whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth. A clean piece of zoomorphic furniture.
