Circa 1870, late Victorian circular walnut games table. Unusual games table with a high shine fabric covered top and curved cross banding which has been made in segments and has good colour and patination. Beneath is a veneered burr walnut shaped apron and it stands on 4 carved, turned, tapering and fluted legs. The legs have a very elaborate rococo style cross over stretcher and a large finial in the centre which is held in place by a circular bezel. At the base of the legs are brass and white porcelain castors.
