Circa 1860, large sized Victorian carved oak 3 tier buffet. At the top there are 4 carved bulbous finials with foliate carving. There are 3 solid shelves with an ogee moulded fore edge, held together by 4 uprights which are a mixture of turned, carved, chamfered, fluted and tapering columns. Beneath the bottom shelf there is a small apron and beneath this a moulding which frames off the bottom shelf. The whole piece stands on 4 carved foliate feet with cast brass and white porcelain castors. The buffet is good size, clean and sturdy.
