Circa 1860, very stylish Victorian 3 seater sofa. The deep buttoned back has 2 raised sections at each end and a dipped and raised centre section. There is a large stuffover seat in red velour (in need of re-upholstery). At the front there are 2 carved cabriole legs, which rise up and form the end of the arm with its curled end. As it comes down, the front divides into 2 sections with an absolute cracking piece of flame mahogany. The divider section on the front becomes a foliate carving down the front and then finishes on 2 elegant, stylish well carved cabriole legs with brass and brown porcelain castors at the front. At the back are 2 simple rectangular shaped legs. A fine piece of Victorian furniture.
