Circa 1840, set of 10 William IV Spanish mahogany, generous-sized dining chairs. With a deep curved toprail with chamfering that extends onto the uprights. They stand on stylish but sturdy turned front feet and splayed back feet. The 2 carvers have faux scrolling on the arms and shaped supports. They have been traditionally upholstered in dark blue hide.
