Circa 1870, large-sized, robust Flemish carved oak hall bench. The back contains three carved panels with rustic figures, surmounted by two figureheads. It has shaped, carved arms with lion masks and acanthus leaves, and a carved panel seat lifting to reveal storage beneath. The base has carved panels with lion heads over a carved apron with hairy claw feet.
