Circa 1870, Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. With a solid mahogany top, rounded corners and simple ogee moulding. A configuration of 2 short drawers with a single knob handle sit over 3 full length drawers with 2 knob handles and which graduate from top to bottom. A rounded fore edge can be seen at the front and beneath the bottom drawer there is a flat edge and an enclosed plinth, finishing on 4 squat bun feet. With ash linings to the drawers, it indicates that the chest is probably Scottish.
