Circa 1890, nest of 4 Chinese hongmu tables. With a rounded and beaded top and solid sunk centre panel, with rounded fore edges and a curved apron with simple scrolling beading. The tables fit into each other very neatly and the legs start at the top of the apron and have a small pattern to the top. They are united on stretchers and finish on a simple stylised toe.
