Circa 1820, George IV mahogany bedside cabinet attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. The solid top with its three quarter wrap around gallery above the flame mahogany door which has a beading and knob handle. Inside there is a simple cupboard. The sides are polished and the back is stained. The classic feature of this bedside cabinet are the 4 wonderful turned, fluted and tapering legs, which finish on a turned tapering toe. The bedside cabinet has good colour and patination.
