Description

Circa 1770, George III mahogany brass bound plate bucket, of tapering form with staved uprights. At the base is a large brass banding. The top has a brass banding holding the staves in position, and there is a cast brass tapering handle which folds flush to the top of the bucket. The bucket retains its original colour and patination. There are a few old repairs on the brass, but the bucket is sound.
