Circa 1920, Chinese hardwood Kang table. The rectangular top has a raised fielded panel with a burr wood centre. This is contained within a larger frame. The classic Kang table curved ends have an open fretwork section with cherry blossom and foliate carving, which continues around the apron as well. The curved ends continue down to finish in curled feet. The table is mellow in colour, clean and sturdy.
