Circa 1900, neat sized Chinese Huanghuali plant stand. The top with its pink variegated marble insert and broad border carved in the form of faux bamboo, over the convex open foliate carved apron which follows the form of the legs. As the legs continue down in the cabriole form there is a wonderful cross over stretcher with open fretwork and in the centre there is a carved flower head. The stand has great colour and patination, and is clean and sturdy.
