Circa 1900, oak framed, leather upholstered, set of Jockey scales. With deep buttoned burgundy leather to the seat on a weighing mechanism, 2 lifting handles left and right and shaped uprights. The weighing scales has a movable arm noting pounds and ounces, and a single drawer to the side, with the apron continuing around the sides. There is a further moulding and the whole scale stands on 4 simple cabriole legs finishing on a raised turn toe. It is an interesting and rare, working piece in excellent condition.
